  • About RuralBiz

    RuralBiz Training offers good quality, good value training for farmers and rural communities. We are part of the national training agenda with our own registered training organisation, Kreate Pty Ltd, offering nationally accredited training to Advanced Diploma level. Our current training scope includes all units of competency in Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diplomas of both Agriculture and Agribusiness Management.

    Flexible delivery is our speciality with courses available in interactive online mode, distance education and traditional face-to-face workshops (groups of 10 or more). You can train with us without leaving home, or you can get a small group together and we will come to you. Our trainers are well qualified and experienced, and live in our rural communities.

    Our Staff


    Kathy Sims

    Kathy is a former rural financial counselor in Dubbo and Rural Skills Development Manager for NSW Farmers Association . She has worked extensively with farmers in both business and education/training.



    Grant Fish

    Grant was welcomed to RuralBiz Training as our General Manager in 2018. Grant has worked extensively in the VET sector in roles centered around compliance and contractual management.Grant is looking to use his knowledge to help rural and regional learners access quality training. Grant holds a Diploma in Training and Assessment and a Diploma in Quality Auditing.





    Sarah Mosley

    Sarah joined RuralBiz in 2015 and has recently been promoted to Administration Manager. Sarah handles all aspects of administration such as enrolments, reporting, funding and administrative compliance. Sarah has future plans to travel overseas, undertake further study and eventually own her own business.





    Melanie Moeller

    Melanie joined RuralBiz in 2016. Melanie's early years were spent on a dairy farm but she grew up to follow her interest in visual arts. With a degree in Fine Arts and extensive experience in administration, customer service and an aptitude for technology Melanie will be applying her skills to our enquiries, technology and marketing.

     




    Blake Watmore

    RuralBiz Training welcomed Blake Watmore to our Dubbo office in 2017. Blake has come on board as an administrative assistant and will be helping Sarah with our monthly reporting and generally around the office. Blake has worked previously in the office of our local MP and hopes in the future to study education at University. Blake has been a pleasure to welcome to the team, listen out for his friendly voice when you next call our office.

     




    Ashleigh Barnett (Tutor)

    Ash is passionate about horses and has worked extensively both in Australia and overseas on a variety of equine studs. She has a Bachelor of Agriculture Science from UNE and experience in large scale cattle operations, feedlots both long and short fed, grazing enterprises, farming with pasture establishment and cropping management. Ash is currently undertaking her TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
