Funding subsidies are now available for Tasmanians wishing to study a Diploma of Agriculture (AHC50116) or an Advanced Diploma of Agribusiness Management (AHC60316).
These courses are suitable for farmers wanting to improve their on-farm practices and learn more about the business
side of farming. A wide variety of unit options are available.

Meet the Trainer: Karen Harper
Karen Harper is our sea-faring, bicycle riding, globe-trotting specialist in business and people issues. After
working in rural Queensland as a Rural Financial Counsellor Karen started her own consultancy helping farming
families resolve communication and succession planning issues.
Karen has been a trainer and assessor with us since 2010 and usually resides with her husband on a boat in North
Queensland but has taken advantage of our online delivery methods and has spent the last few months cycling
and sailing around Europe.

Grant has spent this week at Innovation Generation in Wagga Wagga where 18-35-year-olds in the grain industry gathered to hear from growers, agribusiness professionals, industry pioneers and innovators. Emma Simpson from Canberra was the lucky winner of our GoPro camer competition - Congratulations Emma!
