Welcome to 2016!

Make 2016 your best year ever for skills - learn new skills by training, or get your existing skills formally recognised by RPL.  We're here to help!

Our first newsletter this year has details of an exciting training partnership with Grain Growers plus some great opportunities for funded training.

A first for grain producers

In an exciting development, Grain Growers Ltd and RuralBiz Training are jointly offering a specialist Diploma of Agriculture designed for grain producers Australia-wide.

All units in this qualification have been chosen in consultation with Grain Growers to give a solid grounding in skills for successful grain production. Our trainer is Angela Stewart, an experienced, professional agronomist.

A surprise! More NSW FULLY FUNDED training...

Receiving advice from the NSW Government about a new round of part qualifications funding was a great way to start the year.  We're preparing an application in the following areas:

  • Succession Planning
  • Financial management
  • Chemical Card Plus (AQF3 accreditation)
  • Broadacre cropping
  • Farm WHS (OHS) system

School's in - Certificate III in Ed Support

Our Certificate III in Education Support designed with the Isolated Children's Parents' Association (ICPA) input for rural and remote areas ran successfully in 2015.

It's designed for governesses, parents and teaching assistants/teacher aides.  We've even had great feedback from qualified teachers about our  approach to teaching practical skills to support primary aged children whether they are on distance education or in a local school.

Congratulations.

Congratulations to all students who finished their qualification in 2015.  We're looking forward to catching up with many of you in our local community recognition days in March and April so we can formally present your certificates.
