If unsuccessful, it can result in fractured family relationships and a damaged farm business. RuralBiz Training recognises the critical role for good farm succession planning and offers a confidential service to assist farming families reach agreements related to the future of the farm business.
Farm Business Succession Planning offers the opportunity for all your family to work together to develop a shared plan for the future. It includes a facilitated meeting plus up to 4 hours follow up with our succession planning team, Kathy Sims and Lyn Sykes. Outcomes include a greater understanding of the specific issues affecting your family's succession planning, and documentation of the decisions made by your family for the future of the farm business.

FACILITATORS
Lyn Sykes is well known across Australia for the depth of her experience in farm family facilitation and as a co-author of the excellent GRDC publication A Guide to Succession – Sustaining Families and Farms. Lyn has been helping farming families deal with communication and succession issues for more than 20 years.
Kathy Sims is a former rural financial counselor and qualified accountant (CPA), also with more than 20 years experience helping farming families. She has a good knowledge of the issues affecting farming families and how they may impact on farm businesses.
