COURSE INFORMATION
Here's an opportunity for you to set up your own Farm Plan - Map out what you want your farm to look like in 5, 10, 20 or more years and learn how you can make it a reality and gain a Nationally recognised qualification at the same time.
Computerised mapping software will be provided and used during the training. Examples of the advantages of computerised mapping:
- Easy to update
- Calculate areas & lengths for purchase of fertilisers, seed & fencing material...
- Maintain details of infrastructure eg underground water pipe join locations
Having a current Farm Map is often a prerequisite when applying for CMA incentive funding - check with your local CMA to see what is available.
