This is one of our poddy calves his name is Kevin, we rescued him as his mumma had not been feeding him, he was dehydrated and we weren’t sure if he was going to make it, but Kevin is going great now and he is a cheeky boy.

On the outskirts of Goondiwindi, a fierce dust storm swept through, followed by an intense dry electrical storm. With lightning striking all around, it was too dangerous to step outside, so I set my tripod out the car window and captured this 10-second exposure. The image reveals multiple bolts illuminating the dark sky over the open paddocks, a dramatic display of nature’s raw power.

I went out to take some photos of the canola and while I was there it was a buzz with bees, so I set myself the challenge of trying to capture a bee on a canola flower. Needless to say, this was by far the best shot! I actually managed to get the bee as it was `dancing` on the flower to let the other bees know there was pollen here for the taking. Such an amazing moment!

This was captured in our home paddock after a rain event went through. I went out to see the rainbow that had formed and noticed that the sheep were walking up the hill, right into the end of the rainbow.
Tamara Ward - Tincurrin, Western Australia
It had been another dry winter and spring and we were supplement feeding our SAMM ewes with lupins to prepare them for mating. As I headed out to the paddock with the sheep feeder, I noted that the ewes had simultaneously spotted me and were charging to the edge of the paddock in a long perfect line. It reminded me of the charge of the lighthorse. I just had to capture that moment! It's not that common for our sheep to be so orderly! I love how this shot depicts the uniformity of the scene, the sheep all running in a line, parallel to the rows of trees behind them, and in black and white the contrast of the trees and sheep compared to the barren land really is highlighted. For me this was an ag-mazing moment!

Round up - Caught in the moment, this herding dog shows exactly what it was bred to do — keeping the flock moving and under control. With eyes sharp and body low to the ground, every movement is about reading the sheep and responding in an instant.
