RuralBiz Training delivers a range of qualifications that may be subsidised by State Governments. Subsidies help eligible students reduce the cost of training.
Funding arrangements vary between states. RuralBiz Training is approved to deliver training under the Queensland Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) framework, including the Career Boost Program.

Eligibility
You may be eligible for funding under the Career Boost Program if you:
- permanently reside in Queensland;
- are aged 15 years or older;
- are no longer enrolled in secondary school;
- meet residency and citizenship requirements;
- do not already hold a Certificate IV or higher qualification (some exceptions apply) completed within the last 10 years; and
- are not enrolled in any other qualification, funded or unfunded, except for foundation skills qualifications.
Program-specific rules apply and will be confirmed during your pre-enrolment process.
Fees
- Student co-contribution fees apply unless you are eligible for a concession.
- Fees vary depending on the qualification and funding program.
- Some students may be exempt from fees.
- Your exact fee will be confirmed prior to enrolment.
Refer to Course Fees & Subsidies document for a list of approved qualifications and an estimate of your student co-contribution fee for each qualification should you be eligible for a course fee subsidy.
Consumer Protection & Support
Queensland DESBT requires training providers to ensure students understand their rights, responsibilities and fees before enrolment.
If you have a complaint, you can access our Complaints & Appeals Policy or contact DESBT via the QLD Training Ombudsman.
