AgSkilled Program Extended!

AgSkilled Program Extended!

09 Mar, 2023

NSW Minister for Agriculture Dugald Saunders announced Fee-free training will be rolled out to the livestock sector under an exciting expansion of the AgSkilled program.

AgSkilled has already delivered about $9.6 million worth of training across plant-based industries like cropping, cotton, viticulture and horticulture - and now it will help up-skill workers in the livestock industry.
Whether you’re working with beef cattle, dairy, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry or honey-bees, you can take part in industry-relevant training that incorporates new and emerging technologies.
This will help businesses boost their efficiency and productivity, while creating a highly skilled workforce to help deal with staff shortages.

Participants who have not previously received funding to complete the selected course may be eligible for FEE FREE training under the AgSkilled program.

AgSkilled seeks to upskill NSW’s agricultural industries to manage the challenges of the future. AgSkilled training has a strong on-farm focus.
