AgSkilled Funded Training
AgSkilled is an strategy administered under the NSW Government’s Smart and Skilled program, with agriculture as a priority sector. It aims to upskill and better prepare the agricultural workforce for fast-moving change and opportunities across the agricultural plant-growing and livestock industry sectors.
AgSkilled training has a strong on-farm focus. Funded training is available to those with a genuine interest in NSW’s agricultural industries, such as being a producer, farm staff, contractor, industry professional or those seeking employment in the sector.

Eligibility and Registration
You may be eligible for a full subsidy for the Chemical Card Plus course. To be eligible you must meet the NSW Smart & Skilled standard eligibility, meaning you:
- are aged 15 years or older
- have left school
- live or work in New South Wales
- are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.
- Have a genuine interest in agriculture
- Have not received funding from the NSW Government to complete these units previously
- Complete the NSW information and declaration page on the enrolment form.
