  • Eligibility Requirements

Fees and subsidies are subject to change and our office will confirm course fees and eligible subsidies with you during the enrolment process.

To be eligible for NSW Fee Free courses you must meet the NSW Smart & Skilled standard eligibility, meaning you:

    • are aged 15 years or older
    • have left school
    • live or work in New South Wales
    • are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen

Course entry requirements are available on the course page for your chosen course.

Remember access to a commercially operating farm is an entry requirement for all our courses. Your chosen farm will become a case study for your assignments – the tasks will vary for each unit but include things like testing and interpreting your soils, developing and reviewing your farm business plan and analysing your production systems.

  • Fee-Free Courses

The following of our courses are on the NSW skills priority list. Fee free places are limited and subject to availability.

    AHC40122 Certificate IV in Agriculture

    AHC41024 Certificate IV in Agribusiness

    AHC50122 Diploma of Agriculture

    AHC51422 Diploma of Agribusiness Management

  • What to expect when you study with RuralBiz

Our courses are self-paced and online, so you have a lot of control over when you complete your study and how quickly you move through your units. Most students complete our courses over a two-year timeframe. The standard individual unit duration is 8 weeks, and you have the flexibility to complete units in a shorter timeframe or request extensions of up to another 8 weeks per unit to help manage your course load with peak production cycles on your farm and your busy life.

You will have a Guardian Angel check in with you throughout your study to make sure you are on track and to help resolve any issues that may arise. We also have a Literacy support team if you need extra help with spelling, grammar or numeracy.
