Located in the Southern Tablelands of NSW on a farm primarily focusing on lamb and wool production, I chose to complete the Diploma in Agriculture to build my skills and better support our business, with a focus on livestock, pasture and soils.The course has given me the knowledge and confidence to understand and contribute to livestock production and pasture management, and it has also helped me make sense of the technical concepts used across the industry. With a deeper understanding of our systems, strengths and challenges, I’ve developed a stronger vision for the future of the farm and can now contribute more meaningfully to both day-to-day decisions and long-term planning.
